We believe strong leadership teams, differentiated products or services, and intimate understanding of customers are just some of the keys to successfully growing a business. We look for strong founders who have identified a solution to a significant pain point for a specific set of customers in a sizable and growing market. We look for evidence of customer adoption through early revenue. We’re experienced operators, so we also look for opportunities to be a valuable partner in our investments.

We want to see a product or service that can be defended in the marketplace. We want to understand what makes a solution unique, how it is better than competitors, and why customers will choose it over alternatives.

Potential for Substantial Growth

We look for evidence of market forces that enable significant growth such as disruptive technologies or business models, major shifts in customer buying behaviors, or the emergence of a new market. We also like to see early traction before we invest.
